Zoning Case #2013-004-Ortega Strip Center
The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Granite Shoals will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, January 16, 2014, during their regular meeting, which is open to the public, at 6:00 p.m., at Granite Shoals City Hall, Council Chambers – 2nd floor, 2221 N. Phillips Ranch Road, Granite Shoals, TX 78654, to consider a city-instigated request for a change in zoning on the following property: Ortega Strip Center, 4110 Valley View Lane, Granite Shoals, Texas 78654, corner of CR 416 (Valley View) and FM 1431. The property is currently zoned R-1 Residential -1 (Single Family) zoning, and the city requests a change in zoning to General Business-2 (GB-2) which is more appropriate for the current and predicted future use of the structure, and is in character with the surrounding businesses along FM 1431.
The Granite Shoals City Council will consider this case and will also hold a Public Hearing, at their Regular City Council meeting on Tuesday, January 28, 2014, also at City Council Chambers at City Hall.
