ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDSSeparate sealed Bids for the City of Meadowlakes – 250,000 GALLON GROUND STORAGE TANK, SWE Project No. 0202-008-12 will be received by and at the office of the City Manager, 177 Broadmoor, Suite A, Meadowlakes, Texas 78654 until 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 2, 2013 and then opened at City Hall.
The project consists of fabrication, erection, painting and sterilizing a 250,000 gallon welded steel tank with appurtenances including baffle curtains. The foundation, yard piping and other aspects will be constructed by others. Each Bidder shall also include the time when construction could begin work and the number of days needed to complete the project as part of his bid. This may factor into the award of the project.

A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid issued by an acceptable surety registered with the U.S. Treasury shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check payable to the City of Meadowlakes may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond.
The City of Meadowlakes reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding.
Bids may be held by the City of Meadowlakes for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award.
