The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at City Hall, 3808 Cottonwood Drive, Cottonwood Shores, Texas 78657. Bids are invited for the several items and quantities which are divided up into several distinctive sections as follows: Section A Suction Piping, Valves and Fittings Section B Discharge Piping, Valves and Fittings Section C Raw Water Pump and Controls Section D 10” Raw Water Transmission Line Section E Metal Building at Existing Water Treatment Plant Section F Automatic Valves and Controls for Backwashing Existing Tonka Water Treatment Plant Filters Section G Chain Link Security Fencing and Gates Section H 10” Raw Water Transmission Line – Sand and Road Gravel Section I 10” Raw Water Transmission Line – Type C Asphalt Section J 10” Raw Water Transmission Line – Silt Fence Section K 10” Raw Water Transmission Line - Hydromulching Section L 10” Raw Water Transmission Line – Piping Pressure Testing Equipment Section M Electrical Items Section N Reinforcement Steel for Concrete Foundation Section O Ready-Mix Concrete Bidders can bid on either Section A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N or O or a combination of any of these. Bid/Contract Documents, including Technical Specifications are on file at the office of S.D. Kallman, L.P., 1106 South Mays, Suite 101, Round Rock, Texas 78664. Hard copies of the Bid/Contract Documents can be obtained from S. D. Kallman, L.P. at no charge. Electronic copies of the Bid/Contract Documents are at no charge.
