My husband Tom retired from Dow Chemical six years ago and we settled here in the Hill Country, a place we have come to love. Our three children are all educators and we have three grandchildren. My kids and our jet ski knew the lakes before we did! They are Bulldog coach Nate Turner, Missionary Karla (ktvenezuela.blogspot.com) and Principal Karen Matt. She and Coach Lance Matt are parents of Jordyn and Kobey. Nate, Emily and Trevor Turner live on Lake LBJ and Emily is a school teacher. I served at First Baptist Christian School in Marble Falls after 24 years of public school teaching.
