Llano City Manager leaves for Lampasas
Finley deGraffenried

After serving for 5 years, Llano City Manager Finley deGraffenried will be leaving to take over as Lampasas City Manager on Oct. 15.

deGraffenried will will remain at his position with the City of Llano until he assumes his new role. He will be replacing former Lampasas City Manager Michael Stoldt.

"It’s a good opportunity over there,” deGraffenried said. "It’s a larger city, larger community and I’m looking forward to it. It looks like it will be a fairly challenging position.”

deGraffenried said that he had notified Llano City Council at the time that the City of Lampasas had approached him for an interview.

"Llano has been good to me and good to my family,” he said. "We’ve got a lot of things done in the past five years. I’m proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish. I’ve certainly got mixed feelings (about leaving).”
