Margaret Yeary Lamb was born in Farmersville, Texas on Nov. 4, 1913 and passed away on
Oct. 6 at Richardson Methodist Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jack J. Lamb, Sr.; brother, W.R. Yeary, and son, Jack J. Lamb Jr. Lamb is survived by her daughter Julia Margaret Lamb Rohde, R.C.; daughter-in-law Karen Wolfe; grandchildren Debra L. Madden, (K.D), Terry Glaeser, David Glaeser, Michael Glaeser, and Lamar (Tracy) Lamb; great-grandchildren Aaron Glaeser, Jeffery Burkett, Soren Lamb and Gavin Glaeser; and great-great-grandchildren Angelyne Glaeser and Gage Glaeser.
Margaret lived in Texas all of her life: Farmersville, McKinney, Denton, Austin, Burnet, Plainview, Houston and Richardson. She attended Texas Women’s University in Denton and graduated in 1935. She married Jack in 1936 and they celebrated their 50th Anniversity in 1986.
Margaret was an accomplished pianist. After retiring as an elementary school librarian, she enjoyed organizing libraries at the retirement communities where she lived, especially Clarewood in Houston and the Wellington in Richardson.

A celebration of life graveside service for Lamb will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 9 at 11 a.m. at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park in Burnet.
