Burnet student found dead in home

Burnet police are awaiting the results of an autopsy and a toxicology report on the body of an 18-year-old Burnet High School senior who was found dead in her bedroom Saturday morning.
Darlene Jackson was unresponsive when her younger brother found her at about 11 a.m. Saturday, a family friend said Monday.
Burnet Police Chief Paul Nelson said he was called to the scene at about 11:20 a.m. Saturday.
