Morris was born Jan. 15, 1929 in Colorado City, Texas. He worked in the oil industry for over 40 years. He retired in 1993 and moved to Marble Falls in 1995. Morris served as an active deacon at the First Baptist Church of Marble Falls for many years. He and his wife Jean were married for 62 years.
Survivors include his wife Jean Morris; son and daughter-in-law Wayne and Pam Morris; grandsons Steven Morris and Michael Morris; and sister and brother-in-law Betty and Charles Dockery.
A Memorial service will held at First Baptist Church of Marble Falls on Dec. 29 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Ross Chandler officiating.
