Graveside services will be held for Sophia L. Embry, 87, of Burnet on Wednesday, Dec. 26 at 2:30 p.m. at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio.
She was born in Menard, Texas on Aug. 7, 1925 to Joseph and Lottie Turner Williams and passed from this life on Dec. 24 in Burnet.
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, James G. Embry of Burnet; son Dan Embry of Burnet; and sister Nell Kelly of Killeen.
