Nearly three inches! Rain hits the Highland Lakes
Backbone Creek in Marble Falls rose to 5.4 feet at its highest during the rains on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.

Almost three inches of rain fell in the Highland Lakes overnight Tuesday.

The Lower Colorado River Authority reported the following rainfall in the past 24 hours ending at 10 a.m.:

Backbone Creek at Marble Falls, 1.9

Spicewood, 2.2

Johnson City, 2.4

Pedernales River near Johnson City, 2.7

Buchanan Dam, 2.7

Burnet, 2.8

Bertram, 2.1

Lampasas, 2.7

Llano River in Llano, 2.1

Llano, 2.2

Sandy Creek near Kingsland, 2.5
