January 16, 2013, 10:00 pm by Alexandria Randolph

Two men were arrested Tuesday on charges of possession of a controlled substance after authorities received a tip about suspicious activity.

Charles Michael Goff, 47, of MarbleFalls and Bobby Lee Gomez, 23, of Cottonwood Shores, were each arrested on charges of possession of less than one gram of a controlled substance after Burnet County Special Operations Unit received a tip about suspicious activity at a local hotel in Marble Falls, Sheriff Deputies said.

Officers conducted surveillance and arrested the two with assistance from the Marble Falls Police Department. Goff was charged with possession of methamphetamine and Gomez was charged with possession of Oxycodone Hydrochloride, both felony charges, deputies said.
