Two Kingsland teenage sisters were found unharmed in Galveston Thursday night after an Amber Alert was issued earlier Thursday by Llano County officials.
At about 9 p.m. Thursday night, sisters Misty and Savannah Sloan, 15 and 13 respectively, were found in a hotel parking lot in Galveston by that city’s police, said Llano County Sheriff Bill Blackburn.
They were in the company of 38-year-old Keith Mize, their
uncle by marriage, and 20-year-old Brandon Chelette, who is believed to be an
acquaintance of Mize, according to Llano County Sheriff’s Office investigator
Lt. Glen Williams. Both were being held for questioning.
