Manzano 1500m semifinal results available

Local Olympian Leo Manzano’s quest for gold continues as he qualified for the final of the men’s 1500 meter run this afternoon in London.

Marble Falls High School and University of Texas graduate Manzano finished the first semifinal race in fourth with a time of 3:42.24, half a second behind leader Taoufik Makhloufi of Algeria. Manzano now has a chance for a medal in the final race, which runs on Tuesday at 3:15 p.m. (Central Daylight Time).
