Storms bring some rain to Highland Lakes
Storms on Monday morning briefly helped produce a broad rainbow over Marble Falls when the sun came out for a moment.
Thunderstorms early Sunday morning left up to 1.5 inches of rain in parts of the Highland Lakes. Buchanan Dam and Kingsland recorded the highest totals, according to the Lower Colorado River Authority rain gauges.

Sunday's high is expected to get to 73 degrees with winds from the northwest at 10 to 15 mph. The forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies Sunday night with a chance of rain after midnight. The overnight low is expected to get to 46 degrees. There's a 40 percent chance of rain on Monday with high of 63 and a low of 48.
