Courtesy photo Burnet High School freshman Taylor Carroll won a $10,000 scholarship at the San Antonio Livestock Show when her Poland China Gilt was named Breed Champion last weekend. Carroll’s and her gilt’s victory at San Antonio followed a successful showing at the Fort Worth Stock Show where the gilt also was named Breed Champion. Taylor is the daughter of Kerry and Michele Carroll of Burnet.
