Fatal rollover on east RR 2147

A Marble Falls woman died Wednesday as a result of a one-car rollover that occurred on RR 2147 E just east of Graham Road.

Gayle Bales, 50, was headed westbound on the road and according to DPS was headed homeward at 7:46 a.m. when her 2004 Chevrolet pickup left the roadway to the right, causing her to overcorrect and leave the roadway on the left. The driver overcorrected several times, causing her pickup to flip, according to the DPS said.
