HSB festival flies high despite wind

While the balloons weren’t able to go into full flight at the Balloons Over Horseshoe Bay Resort Festival over the weekend, there were still plenty of events to keep visitors entertained.
Rather than go into flight, visitors to the festival were able to go on tethered rides with balloon pilots and witness a balloon glow show on Friday night, as well as a sky diving show on Saturday.
"The weather was a challenge; it’s always tricky in the
spring,” said Gary Sines from Columbus, Mo., owner of the Coco the Clown
balloon. "There were some really strong upper winds, and on Saturday night it
was too windy at all.”
