T-bone collision sends two to hospital

Two were hospitalized after a collision at the intersection of RR 1431 and FM 1980 west of Marble Falls.
The accident occurred at about 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday when a burgundy GMC Safari minivan headed westbound T-boned a white Ford F250 headed eastbound as the pickup tried to make a left hand turn onto FM 1980, said Texas DPS Trooper Morgan Conn.
"The details are a little hazy on whether the light was red or yellow,” Conn said.
The driver of the pickup was uninjured, but the two
passengers in the minivan sustained major injuries and were transported to what
is believed to be Seton Highland Lakes Hospital in Burnet. The female passenger
was airlifted by Air Evac 49 at that location to be transported to another
