Marble Falls, Llano, Burnet officials keep eye on water crossings

The National Weather Service has a flash flood watch in effect in Burnet and Llano counties through 7 p.m.
Through early Sunday afternoon, Cpt. Glenn Hanson with the Marble Falls Police Department said he had heard no reports of flooding.
"We haven't closed anything down yet," Hanson said. "Both the police and fire departments are keeping an eye on them, though."
No closings had been reported in Burnet or Burnet county, according to a communications officer with the Burnet County Sheriff's Office.
In Llano County, where overnight precipitation totals were just .41 inches in Llano but more than four inches in Tow, Sheriff Bill Blackburn said crossings were still open.
But, he added, he wouldn't mind seeing rain as heavy as what fell in Austin.
"I sure hope we get it," he said.
