Pauken to speak in Horseshoe Bay

Tom Pauken, candidate for Governor of
Pauken is a native Texan, Vietnam War veteran (military intelligence officer), and small business owner and author who has been a conservative leader in the Texas Republican party for over 20 years and a conservative leader since his college days in the Goldwater Presidential campaign of 1964. He has also served as National Chairman of the College Republicans and Texas Republican State Chairman in 1994.
He served on President Reagan's White House staff and was named Director of the ACTION agency by President Reagan where he founded the Vietnam Veterans Leadership program and implemented the "Just Say No to Drugs" campaign of Nancy Reagan.
More recently, Pauken served as the Chairman of the
Texas Workforce Commission from 2008 to 2012 where he has promoted vocational
education opportunities, rebuilding the
He is opposing Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott in the Republican primary.
The club asks that you come hear him discuss his conservative positions on issues ranging from 2nd Amendment rights, border security, vocational education and job growth, to energy, education, governmental powers and grass-roots leadership.
