Burnetís Annual Fair and Rodeo rolled into town over the weekend and brought some thrilling rides and heart-pounding action with it.
As always the Cadallic Rodeo stock was ready to go and at times got the best of the cowboys and cowgirls trying to earn a payday.
There were no scores posted in the bull riding competition but Burnet local Justin Besancon, who road on Saturday, had fans on their feet cheering him on.
There were over 30 kids, just on Saturday that tried their luck at mutton bustiní. Saturdayís two winners were Carson McCorkle and Colton Bailey who each picked up a new pair of boots donated by Blairís Western Wear of Marble Falls.
When the call was made for the calf scramble kids scaled the fence from all around the arena. More than 100 kids chased down a couple of calves in pursuit of a ribbon from their tails for a prize.
Rodeo Clown Ronald Burton did a great job entertaining the crowd between events and there was no shortage of pink as the rodeo recognized breast cancer survivors by spreading pink everywhere.
