Daniel Earl Duke Aug. 24, 1947 ~ Oct. 6, 2012

Daniel ”Danny” Earl Duke was born Aug. 24, 1947 in Galena Park, Texas and passed away Oct. 6, at the age of 65 in Burnet.
He was preceded in death by father Robert H. Duke and son, Jeffery B. Atkinson, Sr. Duke is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Janie Duke of Burnet; daughter DeDe Lynn Remington and husband, Randy of Bluelake, Texas; son John Patrick Goad and wife, Aarin of Burnet; mother Delphin Duke of Marble Falls; eight grandsons; and two granddaughters.
Danny was a member of Victory Baptist Church of Burnet and proudly served in the US Army in Viet Nam during 1967 and 1968.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 2 p.m. at Victory Baptist Church with Rev. Larry May officiating.
