Helen A. Flint, 72, of Llano, formerly of San Saba, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 9. She was born Aug. 25, 1940 to Connie (Bruton) Stewart and William Stewart in Bell County, Texas. She married Lester Flint on Dec. 2, 1961 in Llano. Flint loved her dogs, going shopping, fishing, and was a member of the Bible Baptist Church of Llano. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Billy Stewart.
She is survived by her husband; daughter Deborah Smith of Llano; sons Dean Flint and wife Barbara of Llano, and Alan Flint and wife Bridgette of Llano; sisters Clara Dragset of Burnet, and Florence Chance of Temple; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation was held Wednesday, Oct. 10 from 5-7 p.m. at the Waldrope Hatfield Hawthorne Funeral Home, Llano.
Funeral Services was held Thursday, Oct. 11 at 11 a.m. at the Bible Baptist Church with Rev. Dale Strawn officiating. Burial was followed at the Llano City Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Benjamin Cox, Billy Oestreich, R.C. Oestreich, Ralph Oestreich, Benny Welgehausen and Roy Lynn Flint.
