He was born to Earl and Ethel (Heaton) Liming on Oct. 17, 1941 in White Hall, Ill. Gordon proudly served in the U.S. Navy. After his discharge he worked for the Department of the Army and was civilian. He and his wife had formerly operated Gordon’s Custom Cases in Burnet. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law James and Ann Knight of Burnet, and longtime friend and caregiver Pamela Kay Jackson of Burnet. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ricky Knight, Tim Hunziker, Joe Jackson, John Henry Calhoun, Dale Young and T.J. Hunziker. Graveside services will be conducted at the Burnet City Cemetery on Monday, Oct. 22, at 10 a.m. with Mr. Ivan Chandler officiating. An online guest register maybe signed at www.PutnamCares.com.
