She was born in Austin on May 9, 1994, and raised in Burnet. She was a senior at Burnet High School and was set to graduate with the Class of 2013. Jackson worked part time as a server at Crazy Gal’s Café in Burnet. She was saved to the Lord during her freshman year in high school.
The Bible verses in her room at home were Romans 10: verses 9-10, Colossians 1: verses 1-
10, and John 3: verses 3-5.
She is survived by parents Danny and Gail Widener; brothers Charlie and Garrett Jackson; sister Bobbie Jackson; grandparents Sam and Jesse Roden, and Myrna Widener; niece Melanie Jackson; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31, at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 1, at the Church at The Epicenter officiated by Pastor Kyle Byrd. Interment will follow at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park. Those named as pallbearers were Frank Beltran, Emilio Perez, Andrew Roden, Jesse Roden, Jacob Terry, Charlie Jackson, and Garrett Jackson.

May peace be with your family in this sad time of your lives. Just remember that Darlene is with our precious Lord and Savior where there is no pain no suffering. All there is, is laughter, joy, and happiness. Now your family has a perfect angel looking down on you all until time for us all to meet again. May God bless you and your family.
