William Earl Cooper, 73, of Kingsland passed away, Dec. 15. He was born to Hughie E. and Freda L. (Oppermann) Cooper in East Texas on Dec. 17, 1939.
Cooper had been employed as a carpenter most of his life. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed building things.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Diana Yates Cooper of Kingsland; sons Charles Richard Cooper and Calvin Cooper; grandchildren Cheynne Robert Cooper, Tiffany Johnson and Thomas Boyd, Jr.
Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, at the Highland Lakes Methodist Church at Buchanan Dam. Private inurnment will be held at a later date. An online guest register may be signed at www.PutnamCares.com.
