Vera Lee Hunter Sept. 23, 1926 ~ Dec. 27, 2012

Vera Lee Hunter, 86, of Marble Falls passed away at home on Dec. 27.
She was born Sept. 23, 1926 in Lamesa, Texas (Higanbotham Community) to Russell Franklin Milliken Sr. and Laura Edna (Richardson) Milliken.
She married Kenneth Dee Hunter on Jan. 12, 1946 in Dallas then followed him to several positions over the country during his 42-year career with General Electric Company.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and three brothers. She is survived by her husband Kenneth; son Keith Dee Hunter of Indianapolis, Ind.; daughter Karen Lee Kuhns of Lexington, S.C.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held at Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland, Texas at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3.
