Donna B. Neiswonger Aug. 16, 1925 ~ Jan. 5, 2013December 28, 2012, 9:07 am by Staff Reports Donna Belle Moser Neiswonger, 87, of Spicewood and formerly of Manassas Park, Va., departed this life on Jan. 5 at home surrounded by family. The daughter of Orton D. Moser and Georgia Stella Hart, she was born in Vienna, Va., on Aug. 16, 1925. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles D. Neiswonger, daughter Carolyn Poarch, and grandson Timothy Rew. She is survived by sister Bertha Spitler of Woodstock, Va.; daughters Jane Lauby of Spicewood, and Deborah Suiter of Southport, N.C.; grandchildren Anthony Mallette of Crockett, Texas, David Poarch of Manassas, Va., and Denise Morton of China Grove, N.C.; seven great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Many called her Granny and she enjoyed visiting with Niki and Geoff Hall while they lived with her. Neiswonger was employed by Prince William County, Va., schools for many years. She loved the Texas Hill Country and sat outside with her 3 pets: Maggie, Willie and Mia, as much as possible. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
