Claude William Haight, 91, of Granite Shoals, passed away Jan. 10. He was born to Claude Miller
and Marian Ruth (Sweetland) Haight in Chicago, Ill., on Dec. 25, 1921.
Haight was a 28-year resident of Burnet County, residing in Marble Falls prior to Granite Shoals. He attended Grace Episcopal Church in Llano. He was an electrical contractor and after retirement he built bird houses for many friends and family.
He is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Penelope Peterson and husband Fred Stengal of Art, Texas, and Pamela and Paul Bretall of Wakefield, Mich.; and five grandchildren.
