Muriel Stark Threadgill Jan. 22, 1922 ~ Jan. 24, 2013January 16, 2013, 9:02 am by Staff Reports
She was born on Jan. 22, 1922 in San Antonio to Edward Stark and Elsa Kordzik Stark. She lived her childhood in the Hill Country of Texas. She married Roland Threadgill on Dec. 18, 1942 in San Antonio. She followed Roland through the military and his career in the FAA to San Antonio; Denison, Texas; Houston; and retirement in Kingsland. Lastly, she moved for a few years to The Wesleyan at Estrelle in Georgetown. Threadgill was extremely talented in art and crafts, a great cook, wonderful homemaker, square dancer, and avid master bridge player. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and greatgrandmother all her 91 years. She is survived by children Randy and wife Kay Threadgill of Lakeway, Mike and wife Jeanie Threadgill of Burnet, Marshall Threadgill of Indiahoma, Okla., and Jennie and husband Eddie Perot of Lewisville, Texas; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Roland, and sister Marilyn. Memorial services are planned for Feb. 9. A guest register may be signed at www.PutnamCares .com.
