She was born on Jan. 19, 1988 to Wayne R. and Faye L. Ausmus. Ausmus proudly served her country in the U.S. Army for six years, serving more than one year in Afghanistan. She served as a combat medic and saved many lives during her tour of duty. She received her EMT Medic Certification with National Registry. She loved being an aunt to her many nieces and nephews and cherished every opportunity she had to spend time with them. Her beautiful smile was so warm and genuine. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. She is survived by her parents Wayne R. and Faye L. Ausmus; brothers Thomas J. Ausmus, Brian R. Ausmus and wife Tisa, James P. Seng and wife Terri, Andrew B. Ausmus and wife Kimberly, Christopher L. Ausmus and wife Cielisse, and Jonathan D. Ausmus and wife Grace; sister Bridget Ausmus Parsons; grandmother Martha L. Pitts; nineteen nieces and nephews; and a host of other family, friends, and military family (OUTLAWZ). A visitation was held on Thursday, Feb. 21 from 6-8 p.m. at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway in Pearland. The funeral service will be held on Friday, Feb. 22 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Rex Forsyth officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Houston National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. with the Patriot Riders leading the procession.
