Virginia "Jenny” Hoefs, 86, of Kingsland, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 13, in Round Rock Texas.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 15, at the Balmorhea Cemetery, with Andy Anderson officiating. Arrangements are by Pecos Funeral Home.
Jenny was born in Edinburg, Texas, on Sept. 17, 1927. She married Charlie Hoefs on May 3, 1959.
Jenny is preceded in death by her husband and her grandson, Bryce. Jenny is survived by her daughters; Carolyn Wise and Mike of Kingsland, Susie and Don Richters of Eldorado, Linda and Rudy Carrasco of Boerne, Melissa Hoefs of Marble Falls, and Lori and Mark Taylor of Marble Falls. One sister, Ruth Weaver-Dubuque of Iowa, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and last but not least, Bella, her English bulldog, and "best friend.”
Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or organization of your choice. The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the staff at St. David’s North in Austin, the nurses that took care of her on 4N, and the staff at Girling Home in Round Rock.
