Early morning showers bring less than an inch to Highland Lakes

Scattered showers and thunderstorms graced parts of Central Texas this morning although no severe weather is expected today by the National Weather Service.

The highest recorded levels in the Highland Lakes as of 8:40 a.m. Sunday were .83 inches in Kingsland, and .72 in Burnet according to Lower Colorado River Authority rain gauges. Areas of Marble Falls recorded almost .5 inches.

Lady is a dachshund mix, about 6, weighs 30 pounds, already spayed. She loves to play and run, swim, loves kids, great with other dogs, keeps kennel clean, great on leash.
