Dog dragged behind car on the mend

A 27-year-old woman accused of dragging her 5-pound Chihuahua-Yorkie mix behind her vehicle last week has posted $5,000 bail and her pet is being held in the care of the family of an anonymous Marble Falls police officer.

Adop a Pet - Nina

This is Nina, she is a terrier x, she is about 1 to 2 years old, very calm and sweet, and would make a perfect lapdog. She is great with other dogs and cats. She is for adoption at the Christ-Yoder Animal Shelter. It would be $85 to adopt her, which includes a microchip, low cost rabies vaccine, a bag of food and some goodies to take home with her. For more information please call us at 512.793.5463 or come out for a visit. The shelter is open Saturday through Wednesday, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
