NOTICE OF MEETING OF THE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BURNET, TEXAS

Notice is hereby given that a Regular Meeting of the Planning & Zoning Commission of the City of Burnet, Texas will be held on the 1st day of June, 2009, at 6:00 p.m., in the City Council Chambers at 2402 S. Water Street, Burnet, Texas 78611 at which time the following subjects will be discussed, to-wit:

1. CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS: Consider Action Re: (All of the following items on the Consent Agenda are considered to be self-explanatory by the Commission and will be enacted with one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Commission member, staff member or citizen requests removal of the item from the consent agenda for the purpose of discussion. For removal of an item, a request must be made to the Commission when the Consent Agenda is opened for Commission action).

1.1 Approval of the May 4th, 2009 Regular Commission meeting minutes.

2. CLOSE THE REGULAR SESSION AND OPEN PUBLIC HEARING:

2.1 Open Public Hearing Re: Rezoning the property located at 200 S. West Street from its current zoning designation of "C-1" Light Commercial to a zoning designation of "C-2" Medium Commercial zoning district with a conditional use permit to allow on-site consumption of alcoholic beverages. 3. CLOSE THE PUBLIC HEARING AND RECONVENE THE REGULAR SESSION:

3.1 Discuss and consider action, Re: Recommending approval/denial/modification of a request to rezone property located at 200 S. West Street from its current zoning designation of "C-1" Light Commercial to a zoning designation of "C-2" Medium Commercial zoning district with a conditional use permit to allow on-site consumption of alcoholic beverages. 4. CLOSE THE REGULAR SESSION AND OPEN THE PUBLIC HEARING:

4.1 Public Hearing Re: Request for Preliminary Plat approval of the Rancho Viejo Subdivision, a 117 lot residential large lot subdivision located on FM 2341. The property is legally described as 147.40 acres out of the Joseph Barnhardt Survey No. 35, Abstract No. 65, Burnet, Burnet County, Texas.

5. CLOSE THE PUBLIC HEARING AND RECONVENE THE REGULAR SESSION:

5.1 Discuss and consider action, Re: Recommending approval/denial/modification of a request for Preliminary Plat approval for a 117 lot residential large lot subdivision, located along FM 2341. The property is legally described as 147.40 acres out of the Joseph Barnhardt Survey No. 35, Abstract No. 65, Burnet, Burnet County, Texas.
