The first show of the Burnet Jamboree in its new home in the Hill Country Community Center at the corner of Jackson and boundary streets will be held 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, featuring the Carol Duke Band.

The past four years the free, live country and gospel music show has been held at Hamilton Creek Manor Apartments. Beginning Saturday, all donations from the performances we help the HCCF provide higher education grants.

The Burnet Jamboree Band is made up of Marrell Pike, Andy Lewis, Kevin Holder, Clyde Lyda, Bob Helms, and Bubba Clark, who began and manages the family-environment performances. He said a new format would be introduced in future third-Saturday-of-the-month events. For information, call 512.756.2808.
