A Saturday night drinking party resulted in the arrest of 17 minors in Horseshoe Bay in the early morning hours Sunday.
Horseshoe Bay Police Chief Bill Lane said his department responded to a call on a loud party at 411 Lucy Lane Street in Horseshoe Bay at 2 a.m. Sunday.
“We found a large number of youths partying on the porch and inside the residence and a considerable amount of alcoholic beverages either in actual possession or in the immediate proximity of the group,” he said. “Several tried to flee but were found by responding officers and brought back.”
Lane said the one youth was so intoxicated that EMS was called but he refused transport and was released later to his parents.
Unlike the March 21 bust in which 10 minors arrested were mostly local, none of last weekend’s participants came from the area.
