The varsity Bulldog baseball team beat Lampasas in last week’s two game series 3-2 on Tuesday and 10-2 on Thursday. The wins brought Burnet’s overall record to 17-5-1, 7-2 in district play. On Tuesday, in Burnet, the Badgers took a 2-0 lead after two, but the Dawgs scored three runs in the bottom of the third and held on for the win, 3-2.
