The Bulldog basketball team was recently honored on the District 24-4A list with two First Team selections, one Second Team award, and two Honorable Mention spots. Four out of the five honored are 2025 seniors.
Burnet’s Aidan Holcomb, senior, and Jaxon Sparks, junior, were each named to the first team All-District list. Senior, Jaden Backus was named to the second team list. Honorable Mention awards went to seniors Hayden Cox and Marcus Pimentel.
The Dawgs also placed seven student athletes on the Academic All District list including Korbin Campbell, Hayden Cox, Aidan Holcomb, Marcus Pimentel, JJ Whigham, and managers Gage Carrell and Andrew Resendez.
