Burnet’s track program hosted the Bulldog Relays on Thursday and both teams did extremely well. The varsity division was won by Salado with 223 points, followed by Burnet, 106.5 in second; West, 99.50 in third; Gateway, 55 in fourth; and China Spring rounded out the top five with 40 points. The Lady Dawg JV team won their division with 198 points, followed by Salado, second, 158; China Spring, third, 65; Marble Falls, fourth, 64; and Gateway, fifth, 11.
“What a day, we have lots of great things to celebrate,” said Lady Dawg track coach Crystal Shipley. “Burnet was well represented in all aspects of this meet.”
