County commissioners approve new voting devices

Since more than two months ago, the Burnet County Commissioners Court convened with five members present for a special meeting Monday, March 17.

County Judge Bryan Wilson presided over the court, which also included Pct. 1 Commissioner Jim Luther Jr., Pct. 2 Commissioner Damon Beierle, Pct. 3 Commissioner Chad Collier and Pct. 4 Commissioner Joe Don Dockery. Wilson was sworn in March 12.

It was the first official meeting for Wilson, appointed by commissioners March 11, to succeed former Burnet County Judge James Oakley, who resigned Jan. 2.
