The Burnet City Council issued a proclamation honoring Donald Fawcett with a Day of Service and Fish Fry on Saturday, March 29, 2025, as Donald Fawcett Day of Service in recognition of his lifelong contributions to Burnet.

The Fish Fry will be held at the Burnet Community Center from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., benefiting the Donald Fawcett Scholarship Fund. Dinein or carry-out is available with a $15 per plate donation.
