Precinct 2 Commissioner, Damon Beierle has officially announced his candidacy for re-election. Commissioner Beierle has dedicated himself to the county with his steadfast leadership and serves with dedication to our community with a focus on the citizens.
Precinct 2 Commissioner Beierle is eager to continue his work to ensure Burnet County remains a thriving, vibrant place for families, businesses and future generations. With a proven record of accomplishments, Beierle has worked diligently to address the county’s infrastructure needs, promote economic growth, and ensure the safety and well-being of Burnet County residents.
As Commissioner, he champions conservative budgeting, transparency in local government, and the responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars.
He is also a recent graduate of the prestigious VG Young Institute of County Government Leadership Academy, which is a two- year advanced leadership program for Texas commissioners court members.
“I am proud of what we’ve accomplished during my time in office, but there is still much to be done,” Beierle said. “I am committed to continuing our efforts to make Burnet County a place where people can thrive. I listen to our residents, and together, we will work toward sustainable growth, improved infrastructure, and ensuring that Burnet County remains a great place to live, work, and raise a family.” A proven champion for water conservation and preservation, Beierle works closely with the Central Texas Ground Water Conservation District to ensure all water availability studies submitted by developers are as accurate as can be.

Commissioner Beierle utilizes the time and effectiveness of your road & bridge crew along with the budget to manage nearly 190 miles of Precinct 2 county roads.
• Public Safety: Commissioner Beierle has always prioritized the safety of Burnet County residents while advocating proper resources for law enforcement and emergency services.
• Fiscal Responsibility: Maintaining a transparent and conservative county budget, ensuring tax dollars are spent wisely. Proven by his record of voting for consistent tax rate decreases year after year.
