Bargain hunters, brace for bad news. The Friends of the Herman Brown Free Library closed its Library Thrift Store April 11.
“The Friends can no longer justify continuing its operation,” Friends Treasurer Dr. Francine Carraro told the Bulletin April 8.
“While this change is bittersweet, it represents a necessary step to ensure we can continue to effectively support the library for years to come,” she added.
