The Burnet High School baseball team defeated Georgetown Gateway 8-1 April 25 to finish tied for third in District 24-4A play.
The Bulldogs (17-7, 7-5) are on a nine-game winning streak. Their last loss was to Lampasas 6-5 March 25.
“I’m super proud of the kids for their mentality and digging deep and finding a way to get in,” head coach Russel Houston said.
