Several Burnet High School seniors will represent the community at the inaugural Hill Country Coaches Association all-star game at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 17, at Texan Stadium in Wimberley.

“The all-star game was the driving force behind us starting the HCCA,” said to Joel Fontenot-Amedee, who is the founder and president of the HCCA. “We felt as though our region was criminally underrepresented in other all-star games. Our mission is to impact, support, celebrate, connect and grow student-athletes and coaches throughout the Texas Hill Country. We feel like this game is one big step forward towards that mission.”

The Bulldogs who have committed to play are defensive end Noah Billock, receiver Marcus Pimentel and center Jonathan Ryder. They will suit up for the East team.
