The City of Burnet will host a public input meeting to share and gather information about the proposed new pedestrian bridge over N. U.S. Hwy. 281.
The meeting will be held Thursday, May 29, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the council chambers 2402 S. Water St. in Burnet.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide preliminary details about the project and to receive input from the community about the preferred location for the new bridge.
The project will be paid for through a federal community project funding grant. The bridge will help address and improve the safety of students walking to and from school.
