BCISD school board applauds student achievement

During the BCISD school board meeting May 19 held at the main office, students were recognized for academic, state and national achievements. The University Interscholastic League (UIL) Social Studies, Spelling & Vocabulary, Science, and Current Issues & Events teams were unable to attend the recognition ceremony since they are participating in Austin May 20 in the UIL State competitions.
McKenzie Evans, pictured with Shelly Townsend, was recognized for earning State Champion Diversified Livestock Production Proficiency and Reserve National Champion Diversified Livestock Production Proficiency.
