Bill aims to require ‘credible’ proof of water for developers

If a state bill prevails, groundwater districts may have more power to halt development if they can show evidence of lack of water supply. Central Texas Groundwater Conservation District (CTGCD) heard a report May 20 about the progress on potential legislative activities in the 89th Legislative Session.
