The Highland Lakes Master Gardener Association has announced its upcoming speaker for the Green Thumb Program.
The presentation is scheduled from 2 to 3 p.m. on July 17, at the AgriLife Extension Office, 607 N. Vandeveer, Burnet. The speaker will be Master Gardener Lyn Mefford, who will explore all aspects of “Preserving Memories & Harvest: Classic Canning, Fancy Freezing & Quickles.” The meeting is free and open to the public.
